It is a beautiful flyer! Thanks!
I was wondering… it says that tea bags are ok, but doesn’t mention staples. Can I throw tea bags in there whole? Or should I remove the staples first? Obviously it is more convenient to leave the staples, but I wouldn’t want to ruin the compost!
Thanks! I’ll also try to buy teabags without strings & staples from now on.
Birdie is right composting is fun! I’m really enjoying it, and have been bringing in veggie waste from home. Thanks everyone!
Hi, Sorry I can’t make your meeting on Tuesday. I was wondering, maybe we could put bins in the bathrooms for clean paper towels to be composted? A friend who does composting suggested we might need to bulk our pile up a bit before the weather turns too much colder so that the compost isn’t just a frozen block all winter. I was planning to bring in my frost-biten tomato plants from my deck which might help a little bit too.

Cyndy – Nothing we’ve read says that the staples have to be removed. They’re so small!

Great idea Cyndy! We’ll discuss it at the meeting on Tuesday.
